Three US, seven Iraqi soldiers killed in Iraq bombings
<> BAGHDAD: Three US and seven Iraqi soldiers were killed and seven Americans and three Iraqis wounded in bomb attacks in Iraq. The first bomb went off in Baiji in north of Baghdad killing two US soldiers and injuring five others, the US military said on Saturday. "Two soldiers were killed and five were injured near Baiji at 8:22 pm (1722 GMT) Feb. 4, when an improvised explosive device exploded while on patrol. The wounded were transported to a local treatment facility," the military said. In another blast in the same area after few hours an American soldier was killed and two injured.in The deaths raise to 1,441 the number of US military personnel whose lives have been lost in Iraq since Washington invaded in spring 2003. Four Iraqi soldiers were killed Saturday when a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded near their vehicle in the southern city of Basra, an army spokesman said. Three Iraqi soldiers were killed in two incidents of firing in Samarra. United States have decided to sent robots to Iraq armed with machineguns to fight with resistance fighters.
