FALLUJAH, Iraq - (August 29, 2005) An Iraqi Security Force (ISF) soldier provides security while other ISF soldiers move in to secure a selected target house during a training exercise. Marines are currently training the ISF in order to independently maintain control of Fallujah. 2d Marine Division and MNF-W conducts counter-insurgency operations with Iraqi Security Forces to isolate and neutralize Anti-Iraqi Forces, to support the continued development of Iraqi Security Forces, and to support Iraqi reconstruction and democratic elections in order to create a secure government that enables Iraqi self-reliance and self-governance.
